Non-shave FUE creates significant confusion across the patients and even healthcare providers. It is both of them; the difference is that each donor/recipient area non-shave can be performed with appropriate candidates. Yes, we do perform non-shave MicroFUE procedures. This technique is more challenging than the classic FUE technique, and we explain to the patients that the best possible results acquired with the traditional FUE method with both shaved donor and recipient area. Because cutting all the fields will show us receding regions that otherwise are masked with hairs and facilitate more appropriate planning.
