Having pimples at the donor or recipient area is a normal finding after the hair transplantation. They can be the first sign of hair growth, and indicate an ingrown hair inside the pimple. We call these pimple-like lesions folliculitis. If there are few sporadic bumps, they will usually clear up without treatment. You do not have to worry, just wait. If you have some soft and white pimples with pus inside, you can squeeze them for cosmetic purposes. If you have a bunch of them in a specific area, antibiotic treatment may be needed.
