Scarring and redness can vary among the patients. During FUE, tiny incisions created at the recipient site scarring is almost invisible to the untrained eye. At the donor area, the patient will also have small dot-like scars, but with a good haircut, it will be hidden under the hair. There can be some redness at the donor and recipient area that can last for 1-3 months. Most of the time it is resolved on its own, using some moisturizing creams may help to reduce it as well. Patients who have a fair skin experience skin redness for a more extended time.
